Connecting TikTok is optional. If you do connect it, this is everything Muridian reads, everything it keeps, and how to get rid of all of it. Nothing here is a summary of a longer document — it is the whole arrangement.
Muridian reads three things from the TikTok account you connect, and only after you have granted access on TikTok’s own consent screen:
That is the whole list. Muridian does not read your private or draft videos, your direct messages, your followers’ identities, or anything belonging to any account other than the one you connected.
Muridian never publishes, edits, deletes or otherwise changes anything on your TikTok account. There is no code path that can. The connection exists to read numbers and display them back to you, and to the AI assistant you have connected, beside your other business figures.
TikTok reports what a number is now. It will not tell you what your follower count was six weeks ago, or how a video was performing on the day after it went up. That history does not exist anywhere unless somebody was writing it down as it happened, so Muridian records each reading it takes and keeps the series. That is what lets it show a trend rather than a single figure.
These are ceilings, not targets. Nothing is kept longer because it happens to be interesting.
The access and refresh tokens TikTok issues are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. The encryption key is held in the application environment and is never stored in the database, so a copy of the database on its own does not yield a usable token. Every request between Muridian and TikTok is made over HTTPS.
Your TikTok data is readable only by your own Muridian account and by an AI client you have explicitly authorised and can revoke at any time in settings.
Disconnecting TikTok deletes both the credentials and the data immediately. The stored tokens are removed and so is everything read from that account — the account statistics, the video records and every performance reading. This is not a soft delete and there is no recovery window. TikTok data is treated differently from the other connections here for a reason: those hold figures about your own business, while these are copies of content belonging to an account we can no longer read.
Reconnecting the same TikTok account after a session expires is not a disconnect and costs you no history. Connecting a different account is, and the previous account’s data is removed with it.
Deleting your Muridian account revokes the tokens with TikTok and deletes everything above along with the rest of your account. You can also ask us to do it at letin1672@gmail.com.
TikTok data is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to train any model. Muridian does not run an AI model at all — you connect the assistant you already use, and it reads your data on your instruction.
Muridian can show that you posted something and that another number moved in the same period. That is a correlation and it is presented as one. Nothing here follows a person from a video to a signup, and no identity is carried between the two.
The full privacy policy covers everything else Muridian stores, the legal bases for it, and how to make a data request.
